Thomas Burlin is a Choral Music Education Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas.
His major field is the sociology of music and he specializes in democratic and informal learning.  He has presented several studies about high school a cappella at music education conferences and has worked with groups across the United States.  His dissertation is about the phenomenon of high school contemporary/pop a cappella.
