Kevin Child is the Vocal Percussionist for Ohio-based a cappella group, 4 THE RECORD. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from The University of Maine.

Kevin founded the Bear Vocals in 2003 and helped found the Mixed Nuts in 2007, which he directed and managed. He performed as vocal percussionist for both of these groups, as well as for The University of Maine Steiners, logging in over 300 shows and winning numerous Vocal Percussion awards. 

Kevin sang for 5 years in the University Singers, where he served as assistant conductor and president, under the direction of Denis Cox. 

While pursuing his masters in education with a concentration in performing arts, Kevin played a lead role in the University of Maine’s production of "Sideshow". 

Kevin currently serves as the Artist Relations Manager for Freddie Feldman at VOCOMOTION Studios and teaches vocal percussion privately. In his spare time, Kevin performs standup comedy.
