Dave Brown

Dave Brown is the co-host of the podcast "Mouth-Off".

Dave's music career began as a four-year-old when he began singing harmonies to his father’s bedside lullabies. This later developed into a full-blown obsession when he directed multiple high school a cappella groups. At Brigham Young University, Dave performed with the award-winning all-male ensemble Vocal Point and co-founded and directed the all-female a cappella sensation Noteworthy.

After graduation, Dave joined the CASA Board of Directors in 2006, assumed the role of ICCA South Producer, and began serving as a judge for the ICCA and CARAs.  A frequent presenter on many aspects of a cappella performance and group management, Dave is in demand as a clinician and coach at events across the country. Dave recently finished a term as president of CASA in 2008, during which time he negotiated a merger with the AACI, and today serves as founder and director of CASAcademy, CASA’s online educational resource for a cappella singers and fans.  By day, he works as an IP/Media/Entertainment attorney in New York City.

Dave co-founded the Mouth Off podcast in 2009 with Christopher.  Today he is the show’s co-host and audio editor.  He also does the show’s web stuff.
