Judy Fontana directs The Single Singers (SingStrong DC and SingStrong Chicago).

Judy has been making a cappella music for over 20 years and has directed, arranged for and performed in all-female groups for over a decade. These include New York City’s "Stiletta" and “Melodia Women’s Choir”, Atlanta’s “Octave”, Washington DC’s “Kismet” and William and Mary’s “The Accidentals”.

Fontana co-wrote the original a cappella song, “Christmas Valentine” which was nominated for a 2011 CARA and two 2012 Wammy Awards.

Judy currently lives in New York City, where she directs the new dance a cappella group, "Stiletta", sings with “Melodia Women’s Choir”, and works on developing a universal influenza vaccine as a postdoctoral fellow at Weill Cornell Medical College.
